"Come as you are and be comfortable" describes the church at Laodicea. They had wealth and up to date technology. They questioned the deity of Christ and ignored clear teaching from the Bible. The problem is that if you do not understand who Christ is, you cannot be saved. No mention of a faithful remnant is mentioned and they are given no commendation.
