When God intervened in the life of Hagar after she had fled from Abraham and Sarah, she used the terms that mean God hears and sees. She learned what we all must learn about the fact that God operates by faith. Moses' life is an example of a faithful father, mother, and two midwives who dared to defy the worldly laws to obey God's ways. Moses struggled with sin and God forgave him and still used him in a mighty way. He had to chose whether to follow the way of the world or follow God's call on his life. The result of his obedience resulted in the Israel's family becoming a nation.
