Our High Priest-Jesus Christ
The High Priest was the intercessor between the Jews and God. Part of what Jesus has done for His followers who are truly saved is to be our intercessor and advocate before God the Father. His shed blood has provided our forgiveness and access to directly to HIm. We need an advocate because we have an adversary.
