As adopted children of God we have elements of our adoption that we should understand. The standard of our adoption is that we lay aside every weight and the sin that keeps us from bearing fruit. This shows if we are walking with God. Secondly, the source of our adoption is Jesus and His blood is the source of our righteousness. Finally, the signs of our adoption is the chastisement from God. Do others see that Jesus is in your life and have you experienced the chastisement of God in your life?
